We propose to design and implement a self-sustaining customized health management system based on the following principles:

1. Cover all aspects of health management - preventive, outpatient and inpatient care:
   • Ensure significant (~30%) cost reduction for the households
   • Insulate people economically from health related events to prevent them from a poverty trap
2. Customise the system to address the local requirements / needs of the consumers
3. Improve treatment levels and ensure quality of delivery
4. Improve overall health status of the community along various dimensions
5. Ensure financial self sustainability of the system

We believe in using the existing infrastructure (healthcare providers, risk management organisations, technical organisations, and community aggregators) for promoting our cause. Hence, the basic role of Swasth India is to act as a Service Integrator for the health eco-system created by us.
